This term the school joined forces with Inspired Through Sport to raise funds for school sports equipment.
Inspired Through Sport is a supporter of over 300 Great British Olympic Athletes in the UK. They provide athletes with funding and support by providing them with appearances in school to run inspirational and motivational days with a focus on growth mindset and a healthy lifestyle. Their aim is to show pupils that, using the resilience of an elite athlete.
There was an inspirational assembly and then students took part in a 30-minute session with the athlete.
Students were then asked to raise funds through sponsorship with prises for the most successful fundraisers. Masha Allah our school managed to raise £1473.27.
